Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the CURT Class Three Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK. Now this is what it your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed, and you'll see that it is an exposed cross tube. So you are gonna see most of the hitch here, but it has a nice black powder coat finish, so on this Jeep it looks pretty good. It is a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, which is gonna be great because that's kind of the standard as far as accessories go. You're gonna have a wide range of different things that you can get, whether it be a bike rack, cargo carrier or a ball mount. And all of those are gonna stay in place with a five eights pin and clip. more

So this is going to apply to the earlier one and this is what it's gonna look like when it's installed. Now it looks really nice because it's a hidden cross tube so the only thing that's gonna be showing is gonna be the business end of the trailer hitch receiver. more

Hey, everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today, on our 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, we're gonna be showing you how to install the Curt trailer hitch receiver. But before we get into that, why don't we just take a minute, check this out, and make sure it's gonna work for you. Probably one of the best things about this hitch is the fact that when you're not using it it's gonna be completely hidden, so it's gonna sit behind the bumper. And on these Jeeps, they have this removable panel here, so, whenever you're ready to use it, you just turn the screws on the bottom of it, this pops out of the way, now you're gonna have full access to it. I do wanna mention, you know, before you pick out a hitch, just double check your vehicle, take this door off, make sure you don't have a factory one behind here already. more

Best 2018 Jeep Cherokee Trailer Hitch Options- Video

Hola neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look at the best trailer hitch options on a 2018 Jeep Cherokee. Now, when looking at hitches for your vehicle, they can all kinda start to look the same, and sometimes, it's hard to decipher which one's the best for your vehicle, so hopefully, I can help that decision process. And today, we have four different ones to pick from, so up top, we have our Draw-Tite, next, we have an etrailer hitch, following that, we have a Curt, and then, we also have another selection from etrailer. Now, you can can see right away that there's gonna be two main differences that you'll see, and the first one is going to be that this is a hidden cross tube, and that design basically means that you're not gonna be able to see this portion of the hitch, whereas this one, since the receiver tube opening is in line with this, this is gonna hang down past the rear fascia, so this will be visible on the back of your car. Here, we have the etrailer installed, and this is the one with the hidden cross tube, and you can see that the rear fascia is right here and it's all covered up, except for this portion that's hanging out, so you still get that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, which is great, but the rest of it is hidden, so it gives it a little bit more of a cleaner OEM look. Now, the trade off to having that hidden cross tube is the fact that the installation's gonna be a little bit more difficult, not by a whole lot, but mainly, you're gonna be dropping down the mufflers to get this up into place, because this has to sit above the muffler. more

Hi there Jeep owners. Today on your 2020 Jeep Wrangler, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Draw Tite's class three, two inch trailer hitch receiver. And this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. Here you can see our receiver does stick out the bottom here but the rest of it is installed on the cross tube for the bumper there so you really don't have any of the rest of that showing, just our receiver. It does stick out just a little bit past our rear bumper but not as far as the spare tire. Today, we're enabling our Jeep to do even more. This is a 2021 Jeep Wrangler, and we're gonna be going over the CURT two-inch trailer hitch receiver. Why do we want a hitch receiver Well, we could do a lot of things with it. This is gonna be great for bike racks. You can get a cargo carrier on the back 'cause you don't really have a whole lot of room inside the Wrangler. So if you wanna pack it full of friends and bring all their stuff with them, too, and not be all crammed, this is gonna enable you to do that. more

So for starters, this trailer hitch is for the Jeep Grand Cherokee L. Now there is an emphasis on the L because that's gonna be completely different than just the standard Jeep Grand Cherokee. So you need to know which one you have. The L model should be clearly labeled with this L batch here in the lower left hand corner. So if that's what you have this trailer hitch is for you if you just have the standard Jeep Grand Cherokee you will need a different hitch. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver here on our 2021 Jeep Cherokee. So this is what our Trailer Hitch is gonna look like installed on our vehicle here. Now it actually has a hidden design. And what that means is the cross tube is actually gonna be tucked away behind the bumper. The only thing we are gonna be able to see is the receiver tube. This not only makes for the best overall appearance and also gives us our best ground clearance possible. more

Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Installation - 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee- Video

Today on our 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're gonna be taking a look at the Draw-Tite Class III Trailer Hitch. So this is gonna be a class III, a two inch by two inch hitch receiver, and we're gonna have a max tongue weight of 500 pounds and a max gross trailer weight of 5,000 pounds. If we do use a weight distribution system with it, it'll actually send the tongue weight up to 750 pounds and the gross trailer weight up to 7,500 pounds. So if you don't have a weight distribution set up on your rig, we do have some here at etrailer. One thing that would go good with this is some wiring. So if you're hooking up to a trailer, whether it's just a small trailer or a big trailer, we do have hitch and wirings on our website. more

Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee- Video

Today on our 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee we're gonna be taking a look at the Curt Class 3 Trailer Hitch. So this is a two inch hitch receiver and it's gonna give us about 500 pounds of tongue weight, 5,000 pounds of gross trailer weight. But if we use it with a weight distribution system on the trailer, that'll actually go up to 750 pounds tongue weight, and 7,500 pounds gross trailer weight. The nice thing about this one that sets it apart from some of the others, one, extremely easy to install. I didn't even need a lift or anything, I just got underneath there, four bolts and we're done. But also, as you can see, or can't see, there's no tubes on the side, so this is gonna be one of the more low profile options. more
